The Mansfield Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated Recreation Specialist to support our Community School of the Arts (CSA) program! This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the arts and eager to make a positive impact in our community.
As a Recreation Specialist, you’ll perform a variety of technical and clerical tasks related to promotional projects and community outreach. We’re looking for candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of music, visual arts, and performing arts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and managing web pages and social media for marketing and program registration
- Supporting outreach efforts to local businesses and agencies
- Handling clerical tasks efficiently
- Ensuring excellent customer service while opening and closing the facility and managing staffing during shifts
